Structural formats should follow through the Homepage, Category, sub-category and Product pages which will make a stronger SEO foundation for the site. Structural SEO is suitable for:
- Ecommerce websites
- Enterprise websites

- Forum based websites
- Portal type websites like Gaming, Travel, Films etc
- Any website having a cluster of similar pages
For Ex: Ecommerce websites does have the following structure:

Category Pages
-
Implementing On-page to all the category pages:
- Pick the category page doc
- Go to the Recommendations section
- See the title tag first
- Try to code all the category pages in such a way that ‘Cosmetics’ category will have the title: Cosmetics – Beauty Products Online From Luxury Boutique
- For category ‘Skin Care’, the title will be: Skin care – Beauty Products Online From Luxury Boutique. This format of titles will be implemented for all the category pages. In this way there will be one variable element in all the title tags which in this case is the category name.
- See the Meta Description next: The same theory will follow across all the category page descriptions changing the name of the Category as mentioned in color in the doc. The remaining part will be same for all the descriptions.
- Leave the Meta Keywords section as blank.
- URl structure: For the cosmetic category the suggested URL is http://www.luxuryboutique.biz/cosmetics for the Skin Care the suggested url is http://www.luxuryboutique.biz/skin-care. In this way it is suggested all the category page urls to be changed. Please note, once you change the URL, do 301 redirection of the old url to the new one. Also use hyphen(-) (as mentioned in skin-care) in case of long url. This is seo friendly url.
- Canonical Tag: add canonical tag in the header section to all the category pages as suggested.
- H Tags: Please follow the instructions as suggested in the Doc.

- For the sub-category ‘lip butter’, the title will be: Lip Butter - Cosmetics – Beauty Products Online From Luxury Boutique (as the Lip butter comes under Cosmetics section). In this way there will be one variable element in all the title tags which in this case is the both subcategory and category name.
- In this way all the sub-categories will have Titles.
- Meta Descriptions: The same process is applicable for the description section also. We have to take care of the appearance of subcategories with respect to their own categories (as mentioned in color codes).
