Instagram's Social Engagement Quotient The Highest: Forrester Report

Forrester has both good and bad news for Facebook. According to a new report by the market research firm, for every 1 million fans drawn to a company’s Facebook page, each of the posts received around 700 interactions. For Twitter, the ratio was about 300 interactions per 1 million followers. The report titled “Use Instagram Now,” finds that Instagram, a Facebook property, outperformed every platform when it came to delivering engagement. 
 

Facebook is Changing the Face of Content Discovery: Responsible for 24% of Mobile Referrals

Facebook plays a major role when it comes to content discovery on mobile devices. It is responsible for 24% of referrals to news and entertainment publishers, revealed Quantcast through its official blog. The finding is a part of Quantcast's upcoming report on how mobile has changed the way users engage with content. The report is based on the study on referral sources for the top 250 publishers using Quantcast Measure over the last one year.

Social Logins: Facebook Still Rules; Google Follows Close Behind

Q1 2014 reports from Gigya and Janrain give us an insight into the world of social logins and which social media platform rules it. 
 
According to the data shared by Gigya on Tuesday, Facebook leads with over 50 % of social logins in North America.  Google+ which covers 31 % of social logins in North America ranks second, followed by Yahoo with 15 %. Facebook-rival Twitter lags far behind with merely 3 % of social logins.

Facebook’s 1st quarterly report plants yet another feather in its cap- 1.01 billion monthly active users on phones and tablets. It shows how Facebook is gaining pace in the mobile devices sector and is getting closer to become the largest social platform for both, desktop and mobile users.
