Facebook Releases its Second Global Government Requests Report: Not happy with Government Probes

Facebook released its second Government Requests Report which covers the second half of 2013. The report is sort of an upgraded version of the previous report covering the period between January and June 2013. It includes two new factors- the statistics for content removal requests and Facebook-owned photo-sharing app, Instagram’s data.

Google celebrates the 44th Earth Day with 6 interesting creatures that include puffer fish, veiled chameleon, moon jellyfish and Rufous hummingbird. The Doodle’s accompanied by a photo sharing initiative on G+ called #MyBeautifulEarth.

Google + Post Ads Now Available To All Advertisers

Last year Google introduced +Post ads to a select number of advertisers including +Toyota USA  and Mondelez brands +RITZ crackers  and +Cadbury UK. On April 16, 2014 the search giant announced that +Post ads would be available to all Google+ brand pages that have more than 1,000 followers. Also, Google announced that it's piloting two new features - promoted Hangouts on Air and automatic post promotion.
