We have modules that keeps track of search keywords from the website search that helps to optimize the content.

Key scoring factors for the internal site search module

Four types of scoring factors are available to Drupal administrators:

  • relevance of keyword
  • recency (created, changed, last comment)
  • number of comments (if comment module is turned on)
  • number of page views (if statistics module is turned on AND if Count content views is enabled. See admin/logs/settings)

Advance Internal Site Search

The last edited option (shows time and date) indicates the freshness of the content (how frequently it is updated). Number of comments is another important parameter reflecting engagement . User generated content are a welcome SEO factor. In the long run it provides valuable insights for content creation.
